Jennifer Trotoux is the Director of Collections and Interpretation at the Gamble House, where she joined the staff in 2017. A Pasadena native and an architectural historian by training, she has spent over 25 years of professional practice in Southern California as a historic preservation planner.
Alyssa Rosenthal was born and raised in the peaceful mountains of Northern California. With the Trinity forest as her backyard, the family pets and wildlife as her best friends, Alyssa grew to know dogs as the truest companions, and nature as the best playground. She enjoys being outside most, never having a long term indoor job once in her life.
Nathan McCusker was born in Las Vegas, raised in Kingman, AZ and now loyal Angeleno since 2002. Nathan’s beer-evangelist journey began one fateful day in 2002 after moving to LA and ordered Stone’s IPA. It was love at first sip. True to his inquisitive nature, and newfound patronage at Eagle Rock Brewery, he dove into the world of homebrewing and realized the creative nature of brewing, recipe formulation and experimentation.

Young Kim is the creative director at 3DJ Pictures, an end-to-end production company based in Los Angeles. A vagabond who has lived in multiple continents, Young has called Pasadena home since 2020 —after moving to LA in 2014. Getting his LA industry start as a sound mixer and assistant camera for David Blaine’s magic specials, Young now works mostly in the commercial realm, partnering with clients like Live Nation and Skechers for the better part of the year. Outside of work, Young is an avid basketball fan and is currently working on his debut novel—I Always Knew That I Would Die Young—which is a story about ethnic and more so ethical identity, and if we truly have a choice in who we become.
Joe Hanks is the owner of Brick City Boxing, an innovative boxing inspired high intensity fitness experience. The classes taught are designed by Joe Hanks himself, a world class professional boxer. His inspiration when designing the classes came by his journey through boxing gyms in ‘Brick City,’ that is Newark, New Jersey.
