Whether collecting antiques, collecting and working on antique cars, or restoring a 1923 California bungalow in Alhambra, pieces of the past always seemed too important to brush aside. After several years working in the news industry, and film industry, Michael speaks publicly about Southern California transportation, collecting antiques and, of course, Mount Lowe.
Ada Gates Patton became the first woman in the United States and Canada licensed to shoe Thoroughbred racehorses. In her youth in New York and Long Island, Ada competed in show jumping and fox hunting for 20 years. After universities, Ada owned a ranch in Colorado and started shoeing Western horses on ranches and racetracks. Ada moved to Southern California to work on Thoroughbreds at Santa Anita, Hollywood Park, and Del Mar where she achieved Journeyman status. She maintained an active full time shoeing career for over 36 years. Ada owns and operates Harry Patton Horseshoeing Supplies in Monrovia, CA. She is the widow of Harry Patton, her mentor.
Glenn Evans is a Director of Photography and Adventure Camera man specializing in filming tv shows about Hidden Treasure, Ancient Architecture and Endangered and Exotic Animals. Glenn has filmed in 68 countries around the world for Discovery Channel, History Channel, Netflix, ABC and many other networks. Born in Oregon on a blueberry farm and leaving for California to work in the film and tv industry the camera has been Glenn’s key to world travel and adventure.
Bryan Takeda is President of Affinity Associates, a program management and consulting business located in Monrovia, CA. He is also a partner of creatively, a creative design, promotions and marketing services business with offices in Washington DC and Monrovia, CA. Bryan is extremely active in the Japanese American community as is evidenced by his extensive list of programs and organizations. Bryan holds the rank of yondan (4th degree black belt) in Kendo and was a member of the U.S. Kendo Team at the 1976 World Kendo Championships in London, England.

In 2010, she was named one of The Magazine’s 50 Women of Influence for her dedication to effecting innovative ways of rebuilding neighborhoods in her hometown of Pasadena, California. Susana has traveled extensively throughout Europe and Central America, putting down roots in both the South of France and Guatemala. She is fluent in both French and Spanish.
Tim Fall is a Superior Court judge in Northern California. He also teaches judicial ethics to experienced judges throughout the state. In 2008 Tim faced a contested reelection for his seat which brought forth a battle against mental illness while he was on the campaign trail. Through support from family, friends, and medical professionals Tim found success in both the election and his struggle with mental illness.
