California Institution The Hat Heads to Las Vegas

The Hat, renowned for its “World Famous Pastrami” and a fixture in Alhambra since 1951, is expanding outside of Southern California with its first out-of-state location in Spring Valley. The retro-style eatery, known for its original interior furnishings, offers a counter-service menu featuring burgers, hot dogs, and chili across its 11 locations. The forthcoming 4,122-square-foot restaurant in Spring Valley, as confirmed by the parent company’s paperwork, will feature an outdoor patio and a drive-thru. Although the debut date and opening hours are yet to be announced, the restaurant is expected to showcase its iconic photogenic chef’s toque topped signage. Famous for its pastrami dip sandwiches, chili fries, and generous portions, The Hat brings its classic offerings to a new location near the intersection of Rainbow Boulevard and Sobb Avenue, in close proximity to Scooter’s Pub and Archi’s Thai Bistro.
