Mofufus Basketball is a dynamic basketball organization founded by former Alpine Striders players, renowned within local Chinese American communities.
Mofufus is committed to nurturing a competitive, enjoyable, and secure environment that serves the Asian American communities within the San Gabriel Valley. Their basketball leagues span a spectrum of divisions, thoughtfully catering to players’ unique skill levels.
Mofufus has achieved remarkable growth over the years. Starting with 8 teams, the league has blossomed into a juggernaut boasting over 100 teams each season.
Mofufus has three seasons, Winter, Spring, and Fall, which consist of 10 games, playoffs included.
Mofufus extends its influence through youth clinics and camps tailored to kids seeking to amplify their basketball skills and confidence. The clinics are available for players aged 5 to 17 with minimal to intermediate experience.
Mofufus also started a youth league in January 2019, introducing tournaments for young talents across age brackets.
Mofufus also offers annual events. One of the league’s favorites is the Halloween Tournament which unites the best local Asian American basketball teams.
The organization also actively organizes charitable endeavors and fundraising initiatives, amplifying their contribution to the local Asian American communities.
