About Edwin Mills by Equator
Edwin Mills is an intimate restaurant and bar located in the heart of Old Pasadena.
In 1992 The Equator Coffee House opened at 22 Mills Place. It quickly became the go-to place for both office workers and students. Over time, the Equator Coffe House grew to offer hookah and a full menu and bar.
In 2014 the restaurant was rebranded and remodeled and became Edwin Mills by Equator.
Working in a building that dates back to 1856, Edwin Mills by Equator has grown with the surrounding community but maintains its connection to Old Pasadena, which was essential for the owner and Pasadena local, Teddy B.
With its quality New American menu, welcoming ambiance, and original cocktail selection, Edwin Mills by Equator offers a cultured space for locals and out-of-town visitors.
EDWIN MILLS BY EQUATOR IS ALSO A GALLERY SPACE FOR LOCAL ART
Edwin Mills by Equator offers a tranquil and elegant atmosphere, but it is only complete with the fantastic artwork on display.
Michael Hussar, a talented artist from Southern California, has contributed to the decor with his thought-provoking images that will catch the eye.
It’s no wonder that visitors from far and wide make a point to come in and enjoy his pieces before enjoying a refreshing beverage at the bar. Hussar’s creative talents were honed at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, and you can even acquire one of his original oil paintings through Edwin Mills – ask your server for the details!
